As W.K. Wicks & K.A. McLeod (16542), Wayne and Kylie Wicks commenced operations in December 1993 on N1801 Moree - Berrigal Creek purchased from M. & L. Skewes, Moree with MO 7282 Bedford YRT3 / CCMC. This was followed up one year later (end of 1994) with the acquisition of N1114 Moree - Bulgate from P.P. & P.G. Bell, Moree with MO 2050 Nissan PRX102D. Legals later altered to W.K. & K.A. Wicks.
Around 2004, the original contract (N1801 Moree - Berrigal Creek) was sold to Arvo Kaukiainen, Moree with XRV 106 Toyota Coaster. Another two contracts were added to the business in the 2000's:
1) N1806 Moree - Bullarah ex D.C. & R.A. Shepherd, Moree with MO 3164 Hino RG197K
2) N2894 Mallawa School Bus Service (servicing Mallawa P.S.) initially run on caretaker basis after previous operator V.D. Gordon relinquished the contract. Wicks leased a bus off Newcombe's from Gloucester (relatives of Kylie Wicks) to run the service, then won the contract (through tender) and negotiated to buy Gordon's former bus MO 5954 Toyota Coaster. The run number N2894 dates from 2007 or 2008, suggesting a new number was allocated upon Wicks successful tender for the service
Wicks sold to Spindlebox Pty.Ltd. t/a Spindlebox Buses (A. & L. Madden) 12/19 with the three school bus services & five buses.
