Route 67 Cronulla - Kurnell commenced in January 1947, operated by Stan Latta. It ceased in July 1950 due to the condition of the road. The service recommenced in December 1953 after a bitumen road had been laid by Caltex Oil to serve its oil refinery, built in 1952. Legal ownership of the service passed to Kurnell Bus Service in March 1956, later formed into Kurnell Passenger & Transport Service (later also trading as Kurnell Coaches). The Latta family sold their shareholding in the business to Neville and Julie Nicholson on 1 July 1987. The trading name subsequently changed to Nicholsons Coachlines. Route 67 was renumbered 987 in the Sydney-wide route numbering system on 2 November 1992. Kurnell Passenger & Transport Service and neighbouring Crowther's jointly traded as “Bus Link”, as routes of the two operators formed a single contract area under the Passenger Transport Act, as originally enacted. The Nicholson family sold the Kurnell service to S Crowther & Sons, Caringbah on 16 May 2000 with three vehicles - Of the retained vehicles, m/o 7290 Iveco & m/o 8550 were used by Crowther on the Kurnell services until other vehicles were sourced. Crowther sold the Kurnell service, along with their other routes, to Veolia Transport (NSW) Pty Ltd 1 January 2009, with eight vehicles including the only remaining ex Nicholson vehicle, m/o 8997.
Nicholson remained as a charter operator with TV 2036, last noted in service in November 2002, but sold by 2005.
