Gersbachs Garage Pty Ltd is a long established mechanical repair and auto electrical business with the local NRMA agency. The company was registered on 23 April 1946 and was still trading as of January 2013.
During the 1980s, three school bus services were operated out of Wellington. These were the Wellington - Mumbil and Wellington - Stuart Town school services purchased from JK Offner t/a Offner's Bus Omnibus Service, Wellington in February 1980 with MO 3608 and MO 5635 Bedford SB5s. By January 1982, the Wellington - Nanima school service had also been acquired from Offner.
All 3 contracts were transferred to Gersbachs Auto Centre Pty Ltd in December 1987.
Val Gersbach sold the bus businesss to EC & F Ogden t/a Ogden's Coaches, Wellington with 5 buses in July 1989 - MO 0047, MO 0048, MO 3608, MO 5635 & an unknown ex Perth Leyland Worldmaster. The Mumbil contract is now known as the Wellington - Dripstone contract.
